Switzerland claimed there spot in the quarter finals of the European Championships with a 2-0 victory in their 2-0 win over Italy
Italy were very quickly overtaken in terms of possession since kick off and it did not take long for Switzerland midfielder Remo Freuler to strike a volley into the bottom left corner.
Switzerlands volley drained the Italians of their confidence as they continued their flow of attack and consistency of possession. But it did not take long as a few minutes after half time Swiss Winger Vargas curled the ball into the net from the inside of the box.
Italy seemed drained from the second goal onwards and had no flow going forward as The Swiss continued to dominate every aspect. Paris Saint Germain goalkeeper Donnarumma seemed to be the only player keeping Italy 2-0 down and not conceding more.
Ruben Vargas claimed Man Of The Match and would have taken ours as well. He dominated the attack and consistently drifted into the wide positions and midfield. Not only with his amazing attacking sense Vargas scored his wonderful goal against the Italians.
