Netherlands and Turkey played a very stressful and tense quarter final with a 2-1 Netherlands comeback stunning the Turks.

Turkey seemed in complete control for the first half with Netherlands being poor in possession and weak on the attack. It didn’t take long at all for The Turks to get a goal, with Samet Ayakadin smacking a header into the net following a free kick into the box. The Turks continued their first half domination with the ball being denied multiple times from the Dutch Defence.
The second half begun with a clear perspective of The Dutch mentality. The dutch had begun to get the ball back with the Turks not having the same domination effect they had in the first half. But it only took for the 70th minute to deliver a corner to the dutch, where Defender De Vries would shoot a bullet header into the Turkish goal. And only 6 minutes later, an attack on the right side flank would have the ball drive across to the other side of the net to Cody Gakpo. Where to Turkish defender Mert Muldurs demise would hit tap it into his own net.
The final 5 minutes were stressful for the dutch as all they could do was smack it away due to the consecutive attacks from the Turks. The Dutch Defence were masterful as the backline and goalkeeper won them the match. Taking Turkey Home.
