The 24/25 Premier League Season started off with a bang with Ten Hags Man United sliding past Fulham in a 1-0 victory. The game started off slow with both teams seeming even, struggling to open up any key chances. United did find their chances with Star Man Bruno Fernandes missing huge chances in the Fulham end.
With both teams remaining deadlocked by half time both managers had to make changes tactically. Both teams came out the tunnel looking to win with both teams seeming to be more attacking tactically then before. Fulham ended up with a huge chance missed with Iwobi And Muniz finding themselves through on goal with only Harry Maguire to beat, but a mediocre pass from Muniz found Maguire to get it out.
It only took substitutes Garnacho and Zirkzee to make Man United look more threatening attacking wise with both players finding their involvement in the goal.
A dart from Garnacho down the right wing found a thoroughly placed ball to Zirkzee’s feet who calmly placed it into the left side. But shortly following the late debutant’s goal, Rashford and Garnacho found themselves in a 2v1 with the goal keeper. Rashford played an unexpected ball to Garnacho who completely misplaced the ball away for a goal kick.
But the Man United defence has to be credited to with Dalot, Lisandro Martinez, Harry Maguire and Debutant Mazraoui joining the attack and covering mistakes.
