Brighton Last Minute Winner Eases Past Man Utd

Brighton and Man Utd kicked off Premier League Gameweek 2 on the South Coast grounds. The game kicked off with Brighton looking like the much stronger side whilst United seemed to throw away possession any chance they could. United didn’t seem to be playing as a team at all. With Brighton seeming much more complete.

It wasn’t until 10 minutes before half time, did Danny Welbeck tap the ball in with a nicely delivered ground pass from Mitoma found United 1-0 down.

But after half time Man Utd seemed like the better squad United beginning to play with unity and flair. And a dart from Diallo down the right side found himself with enough room to cut in and shoot. And an attempt at a block found Diallo’s shot deflected and in.

United still seemed like the better side and Man United found themselves in another attacking position. Bruno played a pass into the centre where Joshua Zirkzee attempted to lunge into the ball and all together just missing it, but this pass found Argentinian Star Boy Garnacho who tapped it into the net. But this goal did not stand as when Joshua Zirkzee attempted to lunge onto the ball, He fell into the net. Finding Garnacho’s shot deflected of Zirkzee and In. Now this mistake found the goal offside. Leading to Man United’s performance to scale down from this point.

Brighton for the rest of the game seemed in control with United again, being wasteful in possesion. And it wasn’t until a last minute winner from Brighton’s Brazilian Number 9 Joao Pedro was found unmarked at the back post. Who bringing the game to a climax. Headed the ball into the United net.
