On Sundays First Game Of Gameweek One, Brentford Took On Palace at Home. The Game Kicked Off With Both Sides seeming even starting strong. Palace started the game with an amazing free kick from Eze which was disallowed. But almost straight after Brentford made the game 1-0 with a quick cut in from Mbeumo who slotted it past Henderson.
The Goal Didn’t make Palace any less dedicated to get their equaliser with both teams still playing to their best. Brentford really seemed like a complete team with their players playing with composure and chemistry. The Bee’s players seemed to be slipping through gaps in the Palace team with Palace still 1-0 down at half time.
The game remained in Brentford’s favour until the 57th minute, where a run down the right side led to Palace’s equaliser. An attempted floor pass into the box led to an awkward touch from Brentford defender Ethan Pinnock into his own net.
But Brentford were still dedicated to get their winner. Brentford highlighted their sense for attacking football where in the 76th minute, Brentford’s star man Yoane Wissa Scored. Brentford Winger Lewis Potter had been subbed on shortly before the goal, who shot at the bottom right corner of the Palace net. And a quick save from Henderson had the ball reflected to Wissas feet.
The game ended with a 2-1 victory to Brentford.
